Italian Renaissance (800 words) Essay Example For Students

Italian Renaissance (800 words) Essay Italian RenaissanceAs the fourteenth century guided out the Middle Ages in Italy, another period ofcultural blossoming started, known as the Renaissance. This period in history wasfamous for its restoration of old style topics and the converging of these subjects withthe Catholic Church. These topics of humanism, naturalism, individualism, classicism, and learning and reason showed up in each part of the ItalianRenaissance, most especially in its craft. Humanism can be characterized as the ideathat people are the essential proportion of all things (Fleming, 29). Renaissance workmanship indicated a restored enthusiasm for man who was portrayed in Renaissanceart as the focal point of the world. Pico della Mirandola said that, there isnothing to be seen more magnificent than man. (Fleming, 284) This couldalmost be taken as a proverb for Renaissance craftsmanship. Michelangelos David clearlysupports Mirandolas explanation. Since Renaissance workmanship concentrated on representingtangible, human figures, as opposed to portraying scenes from the Bible all together topraise God, the specialists needed to think in progressively characteristic, logical terms. Artistsbecame acquainted with arithmetic and the idea of room, just as life structures. Lorenzo Ghiberti considered the anatomical extents of the body, FilippoBrunelleschi was keen on arithmetic in engineering, Leone BattistaAlberti, who was talented in painting, model and design, focused on thestudy of science as the hidden standard of human expressions (Fleming, 285). Leonardo additionally took a gander at the geometric extents of the human body (Calder,197). In painting, however particularly in design, craftsmen were enlivened to expressthe basic types of the body underneath its outer appearance. Theiranatomical examines opened the route to the demonstrating and the developments of the humanbody. In painting, naturalism implied a progressively reasonable portrayal of everydayobjects. In Fra Angelicos Annunciation, he shows an accurate multiplication ofTuscan organic science (Wallace, 237). Likewise, the idea of room was significant. Inpainting, figures were set in an increasingly ordinary relationship to the space theyoccupied. Human figures would in general become increasingly close to home and person. Threeclear instances of that are Donatellos David, and Leonardos Mona Lisa and LastSupper, in which the twelve unique articulations of the witnesses were appeared. Each sculpture, each picture was a unique individual who made a profoundimpression. Mary and the holy messenger Gabriel turned out to be human in Fra AngelicosMadonna (Wallace, 45). In any event, when set in a gathering, each individual figurestood out independently, as in Boticellis Adoration of the Magi. One type of artrepresenting the individual was the representation. Rich families and individualscommissioned craftsmen to make sculptures and works of art. High respect for individualpersonality is shown in the number and nature of pictures painted atthis time (Flemming, 286). Italian Renaissance humanism were inspired by arediscovery of the estimations of Greco-Roman development. A model ofarchitectural recovery is Bramantes Tempietto, a little sanctuary constructed where St. Subside is said to have been killed. Bramante later got an opportunity to expand on amuch more noteworthy scale: St. Diminishes Basilica. Unmistakably utilizing old style civilizationsas his model Bramante said of St. Subsides, I will put the Pantheon ontop of the Basilica of Constantine. (Flemming, 309-310) Other architectswent back to the focal kind houses of worship displayed on the Pantheon, as opposed to therectangular basilica that had advanced throughout the hundreds of years. They resuscitated classicalorders and outlines. Beautifying themes were inferred legitimately formancient sacophagi, reliefs, and cut jewels. Stone carvers returned to thepossibilities of the naked. Painters, be that as it may, didnt have the classicalreferences that stone workers had, so they utilized legendary subjects. With all ofthe examining and learning of workmanship in the Renaissance, it would be of littlewonder that the subject of a portion of the craftsmanship was learning itself. The most fam ousexample of this is Raphaels School of Athens. Raphael, alongside Michelangelo, was put in the composition among the positions of craftsman researchers. As individuals from aphilosophical hover purpose on accommodating the perspectives on Plato and Aristotle,Raphael and his companions contemplated that Plato and Aristotle were stating the samething in various words. The two rationalists were set on either side of thecentral. On Platos side, there was a sculpture of Apollo, the divine force of verse. OnAristotles side there was one of Athena, goddess of reason. Spreading outwardon either side were bunches relating to the different schools of thoughtwithin the two significant divisions (Barrett, 87). Regardless of what subject of theItalian Renaissance is named, there is in every case some case of a correspondingart appearance of it. For humanism it was David, for naturalism it wasAnnunciation, for independence, it was The Last Supper, for style, it wasSt. Subsides Basilica, and for learning and reason, it was The School of Athens. .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b , .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b .postImageUrl , .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b .focused content zone { min-tallness: 80px; position: relative; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b , .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b:hover , .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b:visited , .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b:active { border:0!important; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b .clearfix:after { content: ; show: table; clear: both; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b { show: square; change: foundation shading 250ms; webkit-progress: foundation shading 250ms; width: 100%; murkiness: 1; progress: haziness 250ms; webkit-change: darkness 250ms; foundation shading: #95A5A6; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b:active , .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b:hover { mistiness: 1; change: obscurity 250ms; webkit-change: haziness 250ms; foundation shading: #2C3E50; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b .focused content zone { width: 100%; position: relative; } . u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b .ctaText { outskirt base: 0 strong #fff; shading: #2980B9; text dimension: 16px; textual style weight: intense; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; content improvement: underline; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b .postTitle { shading: #FFFFFF; text dimension: 16px; text style weight: 600; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; width: 100%; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b .ctaButton { foundation shading: #7F8C8D!important; shading: #2980B9; fringe: none; fringe sweep: 3px; box-shadow: none; text dimension: 14px; text style weight: striking; line-stature: 26px; moz-outskirt range: 3px; content adjust: focus; content enrichment: none; content shadow: none; width: 80px; min-tallness: 80px; foundation: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/modules/intelly-related-posts/resources/pictures/straightforward arrow.png)no-rehash; position: outright; right: 0; top: 0; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b:hover .ctaButton { foundation shading: #34495E!important; } .u87b3dd9b27a d3433061d76b4e60f528b .focused content { show: table; tallness: 80px; cushioning left: 18px; top: 0; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b-content { show: table-cell; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; cushioning right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-adjust: center; width: 100%; } .u87b3dd9b27ad3433061d76b4e60f528b:after { content: ; show: square; clear: both; } READ: Utilizing Solution Focused Brief Therapy with Domestic Violence Survivors EssayIt was these subjects, which commanded each other part of the Renaissance, thatdominated the aesthetic viewpoint. How Is Appuyer (to Lean On) Conjugated in French

The French verb for to lean on or to support is appuyer. In order to use appuyer in the  present, future, or past tense, it must be  conjugated. French students will find this one to be a little tricky because it is a stem-changing verb. Note that  pencher  is the French verb that means to lean as in to bend down or over. This follows the regular -er  verb conjugation pattern. Conjugating the French Verb  Appuyer In order to use  appuyer  in the way you would say leaned or leaning, we need to change its ending.  Appuyer  is a  stem-changing verb  because it has a Y before the -er. You will notice in the conjugations that in front an E the Y becomes an I. Beyond that stem change, the conjugation of  appuyer  is very similar to other -er  verbs. To conjugate it using the chart, simply pair the  subject pronoun with the appropriate tense. For instance, I support is jappuie. and we will lean on is nous appuierons. Subject Present Future Imperfect j appuie appuierai appuyais tu appuies appuieras appuyais il appuie appuiera appuyait nous appuyons appuierons appuyions vous appuyez appuierez appuyiez ils appuient appuieront appuyaient The Versatile Present Participle of  Appuyer Appuyer  uses the present participle  appuyant.  This can be used as a verb, but can also take the form of an adjective, gerund, or noun in the right context. Using  Appuyer  in the Past Tense The imperfect past tense is useful to know, but a more common form of the past tense in French is  passà © composà ©. For this conjugation, you will use the  past participle  appuyà ©Ã‚  and conjugate the  auxiliary verb  avoir. For instance, I supported is jai appuyà ©. Theres no need to change the past participle with a subject change, just the conjugation of  avoir. Therefore, we leaned on is nous avons appuyà ©. More Conjugations for  Appuyer As you speak more French, you might find the subjunctive and conditional forms of  appuyer  useful. These have a certain level of ambiguity implied within them. The passà © simple and imperfect subjunctive have a rare use. They are primarily reserved for formal writing. Subject Subjunctive Conditional Pass Simple Imperfect Subjunctive j appuie appuierais appuyai appuyasse tu appuies appuierais appuyas appuyasses il appuie appuierait appuya appuyt nous appuyions appuierions appuymes appuyassions vous appuyiez appuieriez appuytes appuyassiez ils appuient appuieraient appuyrent appuyassent The imperative form of  appuyer  is good to know as well. Questions: 1.You are required to select one group and explain how the factors in the chosen group generally affect accuracy of building cost estimating 2.Compare and contrast in a table commonly used preliminary estimating techniques including elemental estimating in theconstruction industry, covering criteria such as description of the method, accuracy levels, level of information required, popularity in the industry and convenience to use. Answers: Importance for early cost estimates The estimation of the construction cost is set with the higher accuracy with the proper planning of the project that is set with the financing. For this, the construction for the clients also need to work on the accuracy with the advice that is given to the sites for the acquisition and the commitment to build and enable to take all the important decisions for the construction of the project. The major determination is about identifying the status of the contractor and how the material price fluctuation is going to directly affect the costs. There are top five factors which include the political situation, fluctuation in the prices for the different materials, planning is poor with the previous experience with the contractor. (Dziadosz et al., 2015). It is important to focus on uncertainty patterns with the costs that needs to be incurred. This mainly reflects the series of the decision-making process. The project includes development planning where there are concepts, development, e xecution and the transfer. Factors for early stage There are different estimations based on how the costs are affiliated with the working on the performance that is set for the detailed designing. (Lung et al., 2014). Here, the major focus is to work on the accuracy as well as the consistency of the system that includes the real pricing and the forecasted too. This works with the estimates for properly handling the designing of facility with the data cost that is important to build up a proper project. For this, the check is also on how the detailed estimates are able to work on the costs which are associated to the facility with the level of detail for the tasks that depends on the cost types to be prepared. The major focus is on the pre-tender stage which could be for checking whether the project is continued or dropped. Along with this, there is a possibility to make the decisions about the conceptual concepts and then work on the different findings which relate to the facets or the services. The majority is able to define and wor k on the project factors with the early stage with procurement methods with project location and size. Here, the inconsistency is measures which is influenced by the size of the project with the method and location. The quantity surveyors are for the increased planning, with the controlled designing phase and checking the estimated period.(Ahiaga Smith, 2014). The importance is based on working over the changes and the calculations that depends on the needs and the cost indices. The patterns are also related to work with the site conditions and how the shipping charged are applicable to with the change in the estimation time. Market conditions which are: Material Pricing, Quality and availability The cost of construction need to include the different variable factors which is mainly to work on the new project costs with the construction material costs. This includes the shipping charges and the other taxes are applied to it. There are calculations which relate to handling the labor wage rate and then working over the project site conditions that could lead to the increase of the cost of construction. The site conditions are related to the poor soil conditions, wetlands and the contaminated minerals with some of the conflicting utilities. For the material management, there is a proper need of the planning and then controlling the efforts which are important to make sure of the quality and the material specifications. The material is based on improving the opportunities for the reduced cost of the overall project (Choi et al., 2015). The management of the poor material will lead to the deterioration at the time of storage with the check on how the timely flow of materials could help in balancing the procurement and the inventory plan. With the material management, there is a need to check on the issues of the design related factors, contractor related, site and the labor, equipment issues. The construction is based on the operations with the site storage space. The methods are considered to be important for working on the productivity which can lead to the delay in the project and result in the project cost overrun. The projects need to work on the building of the structure and the activities are maintained through proper support and the best quality material which is available at the adequate price according to the budget. The change in economy has a major impact on the business where the procurement material and the management is working for 1.92 man hours without any system. It has been seen that the quality is measured with the planning and setting all the schedules that include the inventory records with the product components that are including the material availability with the fast track or the tight sched ules. The poor cost of the material management can also lead to the change in the avoidable costs with the time set for the construction (Ceke Milasinovic, 2015). Preliminary Estimating Techniques They are considered to be important for the activities with the particular work with the possibility to execute the tasks based on the time stipulation. The techniques are based on the construction project through the systematic calculation. There are three methods unit, cubic and the floor area methods for the estimates. The unit method is for the handling of inception feasibility when the project is set at the standardized unit for the cost for the student, bed etc (Mathew et al., 2016). The cubic method is for the outline proposal for the calculation of volume of air in m3. The floor area method is for the use of the different buildings in m2. Elemental estimating This is to work on the comparison of the designing alternatives with the budget and the economic designing. Here, it includes the presentation for the building of the plans with the finance and the sponsor. The elemental cost plan is for the preparation of the bills of the quantity and then working on the match as per the budget of the client. The elemental cost is for the analysis and to involve the cost breakdown which is for the taking of the biggest costs that are identified with the methods that include the choice of the affordable designing which is priced and set by the quantity surveyor. For this, the check is also on building the analysis for the superficial area methods and to plan the adjustments based on the architecture and the re-pricing at the time of the designing stage eliminates (Swei et al., 2017). The disadvantage is the planning adjustments which leads to the fluctuation in the budget and the issues related to the designing specification changing the entire construction technology (Molcho et al., 2014). The Struggles And Fears Of A Puritan Mother Essays -

The Struggles and Fears of a Puritan Mother Being a Puritan woman, Anne Bradstreet had trouble writing poetry in a patriarchal, unimaginative world. Although Bradstreet grew up in affluence with the luxury of an excellent education, she was expected to behave as a normal Puritan woman. She was the wife and child of colonial governor, but her status could not save her from the maltreatment and contempt of a women stepping over the line. The Puritan belief that a women's place is in the home, perturbed Bradstreet. She did not agree with the cultural bias toward women in her time. Bradstreet was criticized harshly for her role as a female writer; nonetheless, she wrote more and more about being a woman. Bradstreet used her feminine side in her poetry to fight her inner struggles. She showed the world that being a woman was to her advantage in the realm of her poetry. Bradstreet uses a variety of metaphors throughout her poetry, but the metaphor that shows her struggles with being a woman is her metaphor of a mother to a child. Th is metaphor is seen in two of her poems, "The Author to Her Book," and, "In Reference to Her Children, 23 June 1659." In these two poems, Bradstreet uses the metaphor of a mother to her child to accentuate her role as a female and a mother. In the poem, "The Author to Her Book", Bradstreet uses the metaphor of a mother to a child to cope with her struggles of shame and pride toward her book. She addresses the book as if it was a child and compares it to one that is misbehaving and embarrassing. Bradstreet is embarrassed by her, "ill-form'd offspring of my feeble brain (l. 1)." Even though she is embarrassed by her work, she lets the reader know that it is by her own fault that it is deformed. "Who after birth did'st by my side remain, / Till snatcht by friends, less wise than true / Who thee abroad expos'd to public view, (ll. 2-4)." She nursed the child from birth, but it was unexpectedly taken from her and that is why the child is "ill form'd". Her brother with out her consent published Bradstreet's works therefore; the poetry was not ready to be published. She likens this embarrassment to that a mother would have dealing with an unruly child. Made thee in rags halting to th' press to trudge, Where errors were not lessened (all may judge). At thy return my blushing was not small, My rambling brat (in print) should mother call; I cast thee by as one unfit for light, Thy visage was so irksome in my sight; (ll. 6-10). In this passage, she uses the word mother. Along with the words offspring and birth, she builds up her metaphor of her poetry as a child. As would a mother birth a child into the world, Bradstreet has birthed her poetry. Bradstreet goes on to expand her metaphor to show her feelings of pride toward her work. She shows her feelings toward her work in the metaphor of parental love. "Yet being mine own, at length affection would/ They blemishes amend, if so I could: (ll.11-12)." As a mother of eight, Bradstreet knows how to raise her children to the best of her ability and tries to do the same with her poetry. As a mother would try to further the movement, physically and spiritually, of her child, Bradstreet tries to do the same with her poems. I wash'd thy face, but more defects I saw, And rubbing off a spot, still made a flaw. I stretcht thy joints to make thee even feet, Yet still thou run'st more hobbling that is meet; (ll.13-16) Bradstreet tries very hard to make her child perfect. While a parent is always striving for perfection in their child, likewise, Bradstreet is searching for the same perfection in her writing. Even though she cannot reach this unattainable perfection, she still feels pride and "affection". Bradstreet knows that even though the child has faults and is not perfect, that she must let go. "In this array, ?mongst vulgars may'st roam (l.19)." The child is on his or her own now and left to the prey of the critics. This poem, "The Author to

Introduction to e-commerce Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words - 1

Introduction to e-commerce - Essay Example In addition, it exceeded the expectations of today’s technology, and enabled the communication industry to integrate their functionality. However, in today’s highly modernized communication world, WAP has some limitations to its functionality. Visible limitations include 1) the pace by which the wireless application protocol is transferred from wireless networks to handheld devices 2) Undeniably, high updating cost of WAP device and WAP content 3) inability of handheld devices using the application to transfer large and bulk amount of data 4) high monetary value of application (Landers, 2002). Moreover, specific engineering of WAP supports only handheld devices in a modern wireless environment. Its limitations make it unreliable to optimize WAP features and the benefits of the application. â€Å"Low bandwidth, high network latency, slow data processing, limited memory, and different obstacles make the application process slow in wireless devices† (Landers, 2002). By pooling abovementioned limitations, one could easily understand that WAP is not user friendly for hand held devices. Therefore, it is necessary to design a substitute suite of technologies that will provide functionality comparable to standard technologies. In addition, the potential of WAP to revolutionize the practice awaits exploration until or unless the technology associated with the WAP receives alteration (Stallings,

The Renaissance and Humanism Essay Example for Free

The Renaissance and Humanism Essay The middle ages were a time of ignorance and lack of progress. The church had taken over the majority of power in the western world, and feudalism kept everyone in their place so that a time continued where the people of Europe made practically no progress. Humanism is the belief that a person has the power and duty to be the best person they can be. The middle ages could have stretched on loner, but due to the black plague exterminating a third of the population, social and economic needs changed. People that did not have much power could be lifted to a higher rank simply because so many upper class people had died. It almost seems like the men and women that survived the plague were proving to god and themselves that they deserve to be alive because they had something to contribute to the new dynamic climate of the renaissance. Humanism was the most important philosophy to the renaissance because it encouraged the kind of glorification of self that was needed to get out of the dark ages. A renaissance man was a humanist, but a humanist did not have to be a renaissance man. A renaissance man is a classic and very specific person. He must be trained in diverse skills and be good at all of them. Many higher-ranking men at this time accomplished being a renaissance man. Leonardo de Vinci was an Italian renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientists, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, botanist and writer. His genius, perhaps more than any other figure, epitomized the renaissance humanist ideal. Leonardo de Vinci practiced humanism all his life and made many radical changes away from traditional western ways. His dissection of human bodies was the first time someone tried to understand the workings of man without any religion. Humanists like Leonardo do Vince caused conflict with religion because humanism spread through Italy and began effecting priests and other religious people. The humanist priests wanted to go back to the original holy texts, just to make sure what is being taught was really was needed to be taught. The focus on religion from the dark ages continued to the renaissance, after all. The great artists and writers were just using their  talents to celebrate god. Michelangelo was the most influential artist of the renaissance. His countless influences on western art mostly drew from his understanding of the figure. Pre renaissance art was very stiff and declarative in its nature. Michelangelo focused on the perfection of the human figure, a very humanist statement in his artwork. Humanism affected all aspects of the renaissance from art to politics. Humanists believed that there was a standard of excellence that had to be achieved by mastering many different skills. The ultimate humanist by that definition was Baldassare Castiglione. He was an Italian courtier, diplomat, soldier and a prominent author. His most influential writing was the Book of the Courtier; it remains the definitive account of renaissance court life. Because of this it is considered one of the renaissance’s most important works. He described a humanist and a renaissance man that knew exactly how to behave. The influence of this book caused an even bigger expansion of the renaissance. A sudden burst of intellectual and humanist light cut through the superstitious fog of the dark ages, and it was called the renaissance. Humanism started and drove this movement from within. A realization of the power of man, the intellectual expanse of religious philosophy, and the holiness of human beings each headed new ideas in western civilization.

The Roswell Incident :: essays research papers fc

Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The people of the world have always had a mysterious belief that Earth wasn't the only planet in the universe that supported life. This belief dates back to ancient times when heavenly and demonic stories were told of gods who strode across the skies on their golden chariots. Tales as far fetched as Zeus who threw lightening bolts from his fingertips to stories as credible as the American Indian's Cachinas, who supposedly taught them to farm and saved them from numerous disasters. The Egyptians, who built their mammoth pyramids with only the use of man power, used hieroglyphics. These same hieroglyphics have been unofficially documented as being similar to symbols found on unidentified aircraft wreckage found in several incidences over the past fifty years (Montgomery 225-32, 236-37). Are these stories all mere coincidence? Some researchers think not and have continued to unveil new evidence that is believably true. Recently, new facts have been brought up on the most documented UFO (unidentified flying object) sighting of all time: the Roswell Incident.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The Roswell Incident is a UFO crash that occurred at 11:30 p.m. on July 4th, 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico (Randal 10). Mac Brazel, a local New Mexico rancher, discovered a considerable amount of unusual debris while riding out on horseback early in the morning to check his sheep after a night of intense thunderstorms. He reported to Sheriff George Wilcox after driving into Roswell, that the aircraft had created a shallow gouge several hundred feet long and was scattered over a large area. Sheriff Wilcox then notified authorities at the Roswell Army Air Field and with the assistance of his deputies, proceeded to investigate the matter. Shortly after the 509th Bomb Group arrived from their station 35 miles away (Walker 38), they closed off the area for a number of days and retrieved the wreckage. The debris was initially taken to Roswell Army Air Field and eventually flown to Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio (Jeffrey). Before the military could intervene, the event had already been witnessed by more than one-hundred people. Local police, fire squad, and curious members of the Roswell community make up these people. A lot of them were part of the initial recovery team and are now telling their stories that have been bottled up for nearly a half of a century (Randal 11).   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  According to one unnamed witness of the Roswell recovery team,   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The crash site was littered with pieces of the aircraft. Something about the   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  size of a fighter plane had crashed, the metal was unlike anything I'd ever seen   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  before. I picked up a piece the size of a car fender with one hand, it couldn't have

What Positive Steps

If you ask anybody what positive steps will you take to tackle climate change? Moreover everyone's answer would be â€Å"What will happen if only I start taking positive steps to tackle climate change? First let someone start then I will also start;† Friends this is wrong. To start anything the steps should be taken by us but we will wait till others start and others do the same. What's the first thing that comes in your mind when you hear about climate change? Answer is Global Warming or Rising Temperature.Global warming is one of the main reasons of climate change. Rising sea level, drought and Increasing temperature are the cause of climate change. And the one who suffers It are we and nature. And the main reason for it is human activities. What positive steps can you take to tackle climate change? There are many ways to do so like using renewable resources, using solar light, windmill, etc. The first way Is very simple and easy. The way Is traveling small distances by cycl e instead of scooter/car. These reduce the use of forest fuel like terror which is getting lesser and lesser day by day.We should also save petrol for future generations. We can also travel by public transport. Traveling by public transport could reduce the use of fuel by individual four or two wheelers. Some people feel uncomfortable in public transport. The recent launched car/bus by which run on hydrogen rather than petrol is also one way. The second thing I or we can do is save energy in the form of electricity. Day by day energy resources are getting scarce. The thing you or I can do is finish your work in daytime when there is natural eight given by sun, so there Is less use of artificial light.Another thing that we can do Is when there Is no need of electric appliances Like computer, bulbs, lights, fans, T. V. ‘s etc. Just don't forget to turn It off. Also In summer at night when you go to sleep Just open the windows rather than turning on the A. C. ‘s, so there I s natural air, electricity is conserved and pollution of air by A. C. Will not happen. The next boy is, to use 3 magical Or's. Reuse, Reduce and Recycle. They are the most common topics when we start talking about climate change. 1. ReuseReuse the thing which you have used once like plastic, bottles, plastic bags, glass bottles, etc. These are the materials which are very harmful to the climate. 2. Reduce Reduce the use of non- biographer waste like things made up of plastic. They take 100 of years to decompose. In the dump yard they Just burn it to finish it up. By burning It very poisonous smoke is formed which can harm the climate and human beings. 3. Recycle After using the things once never throw It If It can be recycled. We can put things Like bottle in the bottle bank. NAS into save-a-can and give paper to the person who ND I can take is the one most people in the word have ignored. That is being vegetarian. Friends, at least we can be vegetarian we could reduce 51% of greenh ouse gases. The step is weird and simple but very powerful. Going vegetarian indirectly reduce deforestation. Non-vegetarian people are the cause of 1/3rd deforestation of grass in the word. They cut forest for grazing animals and to make them health in order to produce good meat. Meat industry produces more carbon dioxide then all word's cars and rare planes. Also being vegetarian could expand our fife by 15 years, and could protect us from diseases like Swine Flu and Bird Flu. In you and l, some people are farmers. So the next point is for them. People which are farmers amongst ‘us' should use. New methods of irrigation by which the use of water would become less and also should take interest in soil conservation for growing good crops and not letting a place become drought affected by making embankments, dress and forestation. So readers think that we should not wait for anyone to get on, instead we take a real step forward to save our mother planet.

Word Family Definition and Examples in English

A word family is a group of words with a common base  to which different prefixes and suffixes  are added. For example, members of the word family based on the headword, base, stem, or root word work include rework, worker, working, workshop, and workmanship, among others. Similar words are called paronyms.   Polyptoton  is the use of more than one of these words together, such as in this quote from the movie Fight Club: The things you  own  end up  owning  you. The repetition  can serve as a dramatic effect or for emphasis in writings ranging from plays and poetry to advertising and political speeches. Roots, Prefixes, and Suffixes Dont plan to memorize all the word families, though. An analysis of a 1963 dictionary by scholars in 1990 found 54,000 word families. With English users creating new words all the time, its better to know how to work with the language and its roots, prefixes, and suffixes than to attempt to memorize it all. According to Birgit Umbreit, [L]anguage users are able to analyze complex words and to establish synchronic relations between words both formally and semantically because they have an implicit or even explicit knowledge of word-family organization. (Birgit Umbreit, Does Love  Come From  to Love  or  to Love  From  Love? Why Lexical Motivation Has to Be Regarded as Bidirectional,  from Cognitive Perspectives on Word Formation, edited by  Alexander Onysko and  Sascha Michel) Said in a simpler way, language learners can decode many new or unfamiliar words through understanding what different prefixes and suffixes do to a root word. The technique can also help people figure out spellings of words they hear or determine the etymology of a word. Frank E. Daulton wrote, [M]ost  linguists  agree that word families should be  transparent, in that learning a new item related to one already known should involve a minimum of learning burden...For instance, if a learner  knows  govern  and is familiar with the prefix  mis-, then  misgovern  requires little if any additional learning (Goulden et al., 1990).  Derivations  that dont meet the transparency criteria are not included in a word family but given separate listings; for instance,  business  (busy)... (Frank E. Daulton, Japans Built-in Lexicon of English-Based Loanwords) Breaking Words Into Parts The roots or stems dont have to be words on their own to make other words. For example, the root struct  forms the base of more than 30 English words; it comes from a Latin word for to build  and creates words such as: construction, structure, and constructive. Knowing that con-  as a prefix means with or together, you can see how the words construction and constructive  involve the creation of something. Knowing that the prefix de- means the opposite—to reduce or remove—and that the suffix -ion  indicates that a word is a noun, you can understand how the word destruction is created—or even the verb to deconstruct. Following the same pattern, look at contract and detract; a contract is something that joins parties in agreement, while to detract means to draw away from.
